July 08, 1990 - Brooklyn Box 1457 was transmitted for a fire in a one story carpet warehouse located at 3rd Ave & 39th Street in the Sunset Park neighborhood. When firefighters arrived, heavy fire and smoke was showing. An exterior attack with Tower Ladders and numerous handlines. Exposure 2 was a 5 story warehouse that was in danger. Handlines were stretched into the exposure 2 building. The fire quiclkly went to 5 Alarms.
