October 02, 2000 - While I was responding to a 2nd Alarm in Sunset Park brooklyn, box 1286 was transmitted for a fire in a grocery store at 6th Ave & 20th street in park slope. I was a few blocks away and pulled in behind the first due companies. A 10-75 was transmitted for a working fire. The first due companies quickly knocked down the main body of fire. Near the doorway at the front of the store were aerosol cans that were stacked up in a pile. all of a sudden one of the cans exploded and flashed over for a split second. A few seconds later another can exploded causing another flashover. The can man quickly extinguished the cans with his extinguisher. I quickly hit the shutter botton at the right moment to get this photo.
