On November 12, 2001, A plane taking off from Kennedy Airport crashed in Belle Harbor, Queens, setting 12 houses on fire. The quick response by the FDNY and numerous off duty members made a great stop. At this time the cause is unknown. The death toll was 260 on the aircraft and 5 on the ground. Hundreds of Emergency workers converged at the scene of the Plane Crash!
